I.C.Lab was established in 1993 aiming at proving laboratory
support for industrial quality controls in the following fields:
- Quality-Specifications of products and raw materials
- Quality of water and waste water
- Insulating Transformer Oils
- Lubricants
- Fuels
While developing its activities in the first two fields, the
I.C.Lab haw been specialising in quality controls such as:
- Determination of mercury(Hg), in every type of liquid or
solid substrate
- Level of purity control in oils in ISO 4406 & NAS 1638
- Microscopic identification of particles in lubricants
- Spectroscopic tests in infrared (FTIR)
- PCBs
- Brookfield Viscosiy
- Air Release
soon started to specialize in the field of Insulating Transformer Oils.
I.C.Lab is equipped with the instruments necessary for
contacting quality controls in Transformer Insulating Oils such
as:
- Physic-chemical tests and determinations (Dielectric
Strength, Water Content, Interfacial Tension, Acid Number,
Flash Point etc.)
- Gas Chromatography (DGA)
- Furan Compounds Determination
- PCBs Determination
- Antioxidants Determination
- Corrosive Sulfur Control
- DBDS Determination
- Passivators Determination
- Particles Count Control in ISO 4406
- Wear Metals Determination
The company operates at a new specially constructed 4 stories
building, which houses the analytical facilities, storage and
administration in Elefsina, Greece.
